Human Rights Campaign
Raising Awareness of Rape, Torture, and Murder of Iranian Citizens
The greatest challenge in raising awareness on human rights atrocities in Iran is the regime's restrictions against investigative reporters, inspectors, bloggers, and oppressive tactics against medical providers, attorneys, and advocates. Evidence is difficult to obtain, presenting increased challenges to media and policy makers. The sum of this oppression belittles human rights atrocities to a rumor.
The human rights campaign mobilizes viable sources to leadership and media, in mass quantity, on a regular basis to overcome restrictions against free speech and freedom of the press.
Awareness Development Program:
- Mobilize reports and independent campaigns on human rights atrocities in Iran to leadership, organizations, news and online media, social media and the public
- Provide resources for non-Iranian organizations to participate in raising awareness
- Provide resources for participants to independently network with other Iranian groups, supporting organizations, leadership, and media.
Confidentiality and Intellectual Property Rights
In order to protect the confidentiality of sources, content is limited to reports that have been made public by human rights and related organizations, content approved by the source, and strictly anonymous reports. Information already made public is preferred, to preserve the rights of the original source in making their information available to the community. Working with public information also allows the audience to independently check sources.
