Iranian-American Coalition
Public Relations for Iranian-Americans
ABS Community Research, Inc has been asked to support the development of an Iranian-American Coalition. The coalition is a national network of professional Iranian-Americans and US domestic supporters, with a few organizations having leading influence.
The mission of the coalition is to:
- Maintain a shared vision of secular democracy and human rights for the liberation of Iran, no matter political position, cultural sect or creed
- Provide the Iranian-American community with updated information on federal and international legislation addressing Iran-related issues; and
- Increase opportunities for Iranian-Americans to mobilize their opinion directly to leadership, concerned organizations, and the media.
Community organizing includes partnerships between independent lobbyists, leading institutes, and related organizations. Information about updated initiatives, campaigns and legislation is provided to ABS; and then ABS reports back out to coalition participants. The community is welcomed to reach out to representative organizations, or share private comment. ABS does not endorse any campaign or legislation, but provides updates and contacts for informational purposes.
ABS also engages in regular communications with media, reflecting on Iranian-American interests above and beyond any legislation or campaign.
ABS has recieved interest from multiple groups seeking to take leadership roles on a committee. These organizations will be announced when formalized.
Through coordination with these organizations, the Iranian-American community has access to the following leadership:
- United Nations
- Canadian and European Parliaments
- White House
- US Congress
- Multiple Policy Institutes and Think Tanks
- Multiple Organizations and Experts
- US National and Local News Media
Membership is not required for participation. The coalition is open to any Iranian-American individual, organization, or supporter. Those interested to participate need only notify ABS, Inc that they would like to be kept updated through mailing list or direct contact. Anyone interested to be kept informed of leadership activities regarding Iran has the right to privacy and confidentiality. Names are not sold to any mailing list, nor volunteered to any other organization unless the individual requests a formal referral.
The Iranian-American Coalition is a public relations program promoting free speech for the diverse facets of the Iranian-American community and supporters.
