Donations and Mobilizing Resources
- Donations cover costs to purchase self-care kits and distribute to private Iranian rape victims. Kits include home testing supplies, over-the-counter treatment, cleansers and informational pamphlets.
- Each kit is a $100 expense at cost, not including shipping or distribution.
- Test results assist in determining extent of medical harm committed by the regime against the individual
- Medical results inform the survivor as to the nature of healthcare needed to recover from incidents
- Medical records provide victims with legal documentation required to hold the Iranian government accountable
- Kits are mobilized with the international support of friends and family members of rape victims.
- The amount of kits distributed indicates the number of Iranians who survived institutionalized rape. Statistics on medical records exhibit the extent of victimization while protecting survivor confidentiality.
